Membership
CYCWAM is a non-profit, volunteer association of child and youth care workers in the Province of Manitoba. We depend upon the annual renewal of our membership base in order to continue to represent practicing child and youth care professionals in Manitoba.
Eligibility
Membership is open to all child and youth care workers in the Province of Manitoba who have practiced in the profession for a minimum of six months with a recognized agency or facility and agree to abide by the tenets of the CYCWAM Code of Ethics.
Types
- Full Membership.
- Student Membership: currently enrolled in a recognized child and youth care educational program.
- Associate Membership: support the aims and goals of the association. There are no voting privileges for Associate members.
- Agency/Corporate Membership: facilities and agencies supporting the work of the association.
- Employee Membership: employees and students of above with at least six months employment.
Benefits
Members receive a membership card, the CYCWAM newsletter, and discounts toward national and international conferences.
